Crystal Paradise

No puedo decir lo suficiente y elocuentemente para expresar mi agradecimiento por la familia Tut y su hospitalidad durante el tiempo que estuve en Crystal Paradise. Viajé solo durante unos días antes de reunirme con amigos y me sentía un poco solo e inseguro. siendo este mi primer viaje desde que mi hijo fue a la universidad. Me sentí muy bienvenida y bien atendida por todos en Crystal Paradise. Las comidas eran tan excelentes que opté por comer allí todas las noches que estuve allí. La habitación estaba limpia, cómoda y en un entorno tan hermoso. El bar de autoservicio con sistema de honor se sentía como estar en casa (pero más cálido), y Alba fue una gran cantidad de información sobre lugares a donde ir, cuándo ir y otra información local que hizo que mi estadía fuera absolutamente fantástica. Se sentía como estar con la familia y no con una corporación anónima. Como viajero solo, la seguridad siempre es una consideración y me sentí absolutamente a gusto aquí. Si vuelvo a Belice (y probablemente lo haré, ya que apenas he arañado la superficie de todas las cosas que hacer en la zona), Crystal Paradise será mi primera opción de alojamiento. ¡Gracias por ser una parte fantástica de mi viaje!

Mi familia y yo pasamos un tiempo espectacular aquí en el Crystal Paradise Resort. Esta estancia fue lo más destacado de nuestro viaje a Belice y es imprescindible para cualquiera que quiera explorar San Ignacio, Tikal, ATM, Barton Creek, etc.

Las habitaciones estaban impecablemente limpias y muy cómodas. Las vistas diarias de la vida silvestre, especialmente múltiples especies de hermosas aves e iguanas de la selva, son inmejorables.

El hotel cuenta con un restaurante que opera con un plan de comidas diario de desayuno, almuerzo y cena al que puede optar a su llegada. ¡Todo sabe muy bien, imagina la cocina casera tradicional con precisión de restaurante!

El personal del hotel es muy servicial y atento y le ayudará a reservar transporte, excursiones y casi cualquier otra cosa que pueda necesitar durante su estancia.

MUY RECOMENDABLE. Me alojé aquí con mi novia en mi primer Tori a Belice (su tercero). Estábamos buscando un lugar fuera de la ciudad con un ambiente relajado. No nos decepcionó. El personal (casi todos los miembros de una gran familia) fue servicial, alegre, servicial y conocedor. Le proporcionaron todas las comidas, le ayudaron a reservar excursiones y le dieron información sobre cualquier cosa que quisiera hacer en San Ignacio y sus alrededores.

La experiencia gastronómica fue uno de los aspectos más destacados para nosotros, ya que cada comida fue espectacular. Tenían el desayuno listo en el momento adecuado de acuerdo con sus actividades planificadas, prepararon tofu para mi novia todas las noches ya que ella es vegetariana. Todas las mejores comidas que comí en Belice provinieron de la cocina de Crystal Paradise.

Las habitaciones eran cómodas con ventiladores y mini splits para aire acondicionado. El entorno te hace sentir como si estuvieras en la jungla. Los pájaros están por todas partes y son espectaculares. Los techos de paja se sienten tan frescos en sentido literal y figurado, ya que en realidad ayudan a refrescarse por la noche.

¡Esta fue nuestra segunda estancia (diciembre de 2023) en Crystal Paradise y no nos decepcionó! Propiedad y operación local de una familia beliceña, ¡y todos lo hacen increíble! La cocina de Carolita, la planificación de Alba, las historias de Víctor y los recorridos de Eric, todo increíble. ¡Sentimos que hemos conocido a nuestra segunda familia con los Tuts!

Recomiendo encarecidamente quedarse un rato y disfrutar de las aventuras Y la relajación y la observación de aves que la zona tiene para ofrecer.

Los puntos destacados incluyeron: recorrido por cajeros automáticos, la cooperativa de mujeres de San Antonio, el Raptor Center, la cueva Rio Frio y, por último, pero no menos importante, ¡tomar café y observar aves en Crystal Paradise!

Viajamos con nuestro hijo de 10 años y ES apto para niños.

Cómodas habitaciones limpias. Buena comida, buena gente fuera de la carretera. ¿Qué más podrías querer?

Nos alojamos en Crystal Paradise Resort durante una semana en febrero de 2023. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y eran tranquilas, el servicio fue excelente (me encantó la comida casera de Carolita) y la ubicación era encantadora. La observación de aves en la terraza fue maravillosa: varias especies de aves vienen a alimentarse. Los terrenos tienen numerosos senderos, caminamos y encontramos numerosas especies por la mañana y antes del atardecer. El campo es hermoso en el área: estábamos cerca de áreas clave para la observación de aves, el río Macal, San Ignacio y el sitio maya Xunantunich. Definitivamente esperamos volver el próximo año.

If you are looking for a place to hang out poolside and wait for the waitstaff to bring you drinks, then look elsewhere, because that is just not happening here.

However, if you are interested in a quiet sanctuary from which to launch excursions to western Belizean sites, then this is the place for you. The rooms (cabanas) are rustic yet comfortable. The grounds are quiet, but the birds will probably wake you in the morning with the cacophony of their songs, which is really not a bad way to wake up.

The staff are accommodating and will facilitate excursion bookings and fix excellent home-cooked style meals. They have an 'honor system' bar consisting of beers, soft drinks and a bit of liquor.

Without a car, you will have to depend on taxis or the staff to help arrange transportation.

Our visit was at the end of May 2022.

Crystal Paradise is one of the best places to stay in Belize if you want to be immersed in nature and peaceful atmosphere. It is Belizean owned and the Tut family is so welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful. Food is excellent and location is perfect for launching into numerous adventures in the jungle and mountain pine ridge area. Self serve bar is great too!

An amazing week at an amazing place! The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the family are all delightful! We started every morning drinking our coffee and watching so many beautiful birds eating at the feeders, followed by a delicious home cooked breakfast. We spent our days checking out a number of the fascinating sights in the surrounding area, and were welcomed back in the evenings with an unbelievable dinner! Victor is super friendly, a wealth of information, and has raised a great family. Carlita was warm and welcoming, and full of advice about activities. For an extra treat, we took a couple of night tours with Eric, both on the property, and on the river in a canoe, where he showed us a ton of nocturnal wildlife we never would have found on our own. We can’t wait to come back, there’s still so much more to see and experience!

I loved Crystal Paradise. I've stayed here multiple times because I find it so delightful. The cabanas are gorgeous and recently added AC. The grounds are beautifully manicured and landscaped and the assortment of birds is fantastic. Finally the food was delicious and scheduling tours of nearby sites couldn't be easier.

What a great stay! Comfortable unit, reasonable price, beautiful surroundings, and extremely welcoming family. Great base camp for exploring Mountain Pine Ridge area: Butterflies & hummingbirds at Green Hills Butterfly Ranch, Gaia Riverlodge (5 sisters waterfall), Big Rock Falls, Francis Coppola Blancaneaux Lodge, Rio Frio Cave, ATM Cave, Noj Kaax Meen Elijio Panti National park, and countless other natural attractions can be blended into customized easy day trips via Crystal Paradise.
Be sure to ask about ATV tours they are starting to do, as those are great also!

Just stayed 2 nights here with a group. Beautiful grounds with vibrant gardens and amazing bird watching. We did two tours (Cave tubing and Carocol/Rio on the Pools) and our guide was top notch and a wealth of information. Self serve bar area was great and the food we had was also great! The family that owns and runs the resort is welcoming and we’re very helpful during our stay. We had a screened in porch outside our room with hammocks that was perfect for the morning and evening times to relax and enjoy. Will stay here again if we are back to this area of Belize!

Very awesome place to relax and when on a buiseneas trip! Beautiful Fauna and so much species of birds around.nice and friendly atmosphere from the owners and staff! Well satisfied.

If you are looking for an "exotic" and hassle-free birding holiday, Crystal Paradise Resort is the place for you! Located near San Ignacio in western Belize, Crystal Paradise is owned and operated by the Tut family. The accommodations, the day tours, and the birding excursions were exceptional. But what made our visit extra special was the owners themselves. In just a few short days we felt as if we were part of their family. During our last evening, sister Carol came to announce that brother Andy had found a very strange, nocturnal bird called a Northern Potoo, and did we want to see it. Here was a family who, on their own personal time, went the extra mile to make sure that our trip was a success. We also want to thank sister Julie, who met us at the airport, and who escorted us to the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich. Thanks to everyone at Crystal Paradise Resort. You gave us a perfect holiday, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2022.

The place is beautiful, its a very homie feeling. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. They made sure that their guests felt like family and that they had everything they needed. Along with an open view of trees and and the wild life its a really beautiful place. The had nice little areas were my friends and I gather to talk and share some laughs, right outside the rooms. The hammocks were so relaxing to lie in after a long day.

Great birding Lodge, comfortable rooms and many birds to enjoy viewing while having breakfast, great landscape and many activities offered from. Birding, canoeing and tours to all the sites in the area.

What a treat! Staying at Crystal Paradise resort was like A wonderful home away from home. We had special diets of plant-based and gluten-free and his Carlita cooked some amazing beautiful dishes for us every morning and evening. The Bungalows were beautifully designed and the property was well-maintained. Everything about the stay was wonderful! It’s a family owned business and I felt at home.

Wonderful place tucked away with so many species of birds coming in daily. Cabanas were neat and tidy. Great family style local meals in the dining hall. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to hear and see a thicket tinamou!

Quaint, Friendly and Quiet Family owned resort. Victor is the owner of this place and you will know him when you meet him as he is such a friendly guy.but that is not to say his daughter Clara is anything less than super herself. You really feel like family when you stay here. The national toucans are a daily visitor and at the dining area, you will see wonderful beautiful birds. Although not considered a 5 star, the place is super clean. We opted for the air conditioned rooms and have no regrets. Meals are all pre ordered so keep that in mind. The family is also happy to organized tours for you, I wish I knew that. This is located not close to town so keep that in mind.
